Upgrading your Smart-ID Basic account
There are two types of Smart-ID accounts available:
1. Smart-ID Basic - limited to only banking only (available only in Lithuania and Latvia)
2. A qualified Smart-ID - gives you full access to online banking, digital signing, other e-services.
You can check if your Smart-ID is qualified by opening your Smart-ID app. Then click on the menu and check User info.
If it says Smart-ID Qualified Electronic Signature under account level, you have full access to all Smart-ID supported services. If it states your account level to be anything different, please consider upgrading your account.
