USB flash drive/smart card: what to do if, after doing the necessary steps and installing the required software, it is not possible to sign an electronic document?

To connect and sign documents with a USB flash drive/smart card, you will need to install additional software on your computer.

If, after installing the necessary software, you still cannot use the electronic signature, follow these steps and try again:

  • If you are using a personal identification card, reinsert the card into the reader and check.
  • if the reader is properly connected to the computer.
  • If you are using a USB flash drive, reconnect it to the computer. Restart your computer.
  • If, after performing all these steps, you are still unable to use the electronic signature, please contact us.
