How to start signing with ZealiD?

Here's a short intro how global signature signing works:


  1. Log in to your Mark Sign account at app.marksign.lt in a convenient way:
  • Citizens of Lithuania can log in with Mobile-ID, Smart-ID, LT ID, ZealiD, USB tokens and Smart cards.
  • Citizens of Estonia – Mobile-ID, Smart-ID, ZealiD, USB tokens and Smart cards;
  • Citizens of Latvia – Smart-ID and ZealiD, USB tokens and Smart cards;
  • Citizens of Poland – SimplySign and ZealiD, USB tokens and Smart cards;
  • Citizens of other countries – ZealiD.



2. Upload the document, invite members and sign.

  • If you are a citizen of the Baltic States, you can sign documents with your Mobile-ID or Smart-ID app.
  • NB: If you want to pay for another person's signature by yourself, check the box Deduct the signature from my account.
  • If the other signatory is a foreign citizen, he will be able to connect to app.marksign.lt and sign documents using the ZealiD application.

To sign a document with a global signature, you will need to take certain steps.


First, make sure you have:

  • A mobile device that supports Touch ID or Face ID
  • A valid document (ID card, passport or permanent residence permit)

Connecting for the first time:


1. STEP ONE (Download the ZealiD app on your smartphone from the AppStore or Google Play)

2. REGISTRATION (Enter your phone number, e-mail, and enter the identification code received via SMS message)

3. FACE RECOGNITION ( Complete the face recognition process according to all the instructions)

4. IDENTITY CONFIRMATION (Verify your identity by scanning your ID card or passport.)

5. NFC TAG VALIDATION (Add a smart device to an ID card or passport that has an NFC tag)

6. DATA CONFIRMATION (Check whether all your data is correct and confirm the information)


Once your ZealiD app is approved, by scanning the QR code, you will be able to log in to your Mark Sign account and sign the document.

If you already have the ZealiD app, you can sign documents by scanning the provided QR code.
